1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text records stored by a browser. Similar local-storage or session technologies may perform the same job. This policy explains their use on maintaincmms.com and the Maintain CMMS application.
2. Essential cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies or equivalent session records to keep a user signed in, protect account and request security, remember essential session state and route traffic safely. The service cannot provide authenticated workspaces without these functions.
Essential cookies are not used to build advertising profiles. Their legal basis is providing the service requested and our legitimate interest in secure operation; consent is not normally required for strictly necessary storage.
3. Website measurement
Our current first-party website measurement records limited events such as page interest or registration clicks without intentionally storing visitor names, full IP addresses or advertising identifiers. We do not currently use third-party behavioural advertising cookies on the public website.
4. Payment and external services
When you choose secure checkout or follow an external link, the destination provider—including Stripe—may set its own necessary or preference cookies under its own policy. Those cookies are controlled by that provider, not Maintain CMMS.
5. Your controls
You can block or delete cookies through browser settings. Blocking essential authentication or security cookies may prevent registration, login, checkout or protected product functions. If we introduce non-essential analytics or advertising cookies, we will update this policy and request consent where required before setting them.
